What is Yoga?


Yoga is one of the oldest systems of personal development, dating back to as early as 4000 B.C. Yoga means "to unite with." It promotes harmony and union between the body, mind and spirit, through specific postures and breath, coupled with the focus of the mind. There are many types of Yoga—Hatha, Kundalini, Mantra, Yantra, Tibetan, and Shamanic, to name a few.


What is Energy?

Everything is composed of energy, an unseen force. In yoga, energy is called prana, in martial arts it is called chi, in science it is called the zero point energy or cosmic energy, and in everyday life it is called unconditional love. Energy is the raw essence of physical matter. Every physical manifestation within this reality contains energy or an energy matrix which maintains the appearance of the physical object. This energy matrix is always in a state of motion, vibration. If the vibration changes, the physical appearance of the object changes. For inanimate objects the vibration does not change much if at all. For example, the vibration of a quartz crystal is very stable and does not change, thus it is used in electronics, in radios, as a tuning mechanism for receiving and transmitting specific radio stations.


The energy matrix, and vibration, of our body is always changing and influenced by daily stress, from over working ambient energy fields, the food we eat, etc. When our bodies are healthy and happy, our energy matrix is flowing and vibrates at a high rate. When our bodies are under stress, emotional, mental or physical, our energy matrix vibrates at a low rate and becomes stagnant. At a low vibration, we are vulnerable to the influences of ambient energies, and the onset of disease. Sickness first starts in our energy matrix as a stagnation of energy (stress). If not addressed, it manifests as some form of illness, back pain, infection, flu, cancer, etc. At a high vibration a stagnant condition of energy cannot exist, because the energy is encouraged to flow throughout ones energy matrix. At a higher vibration, our bodies remain healthy and stress free. We are less influenced by our surrounding ambient energy fields.


Therefore, by releasing stress from our energy matrix, we remain happy, healthy, and youthful. Our energy field is vibrant, flowing, and expanding, like a beautiful flower in a sea of energy, growing towards Personal and Planetary Ascension.


What is Energy Shift Yoga?


When our bodies evolve from a low vibration to a high vibration we experience an "Energy Shift". Yoga techniques such as Hatha, Kundalini, Tibetan, Shamanic etc., all encourage our energy matrix to vibrate at a higher, healthier rate. Energy Shift Yoga, uses a combination of all these techniques to establish a healthier, happier vibration. At a higher vibration, body, mind, and spirit unite and begin to operate as one. Where spirit leads mind and mind leads body. This is when the benefits of Energy Shift Yoga are experienced.
